Art Ideas and Music Recommendations for March 24, 2024
Earlier this week, I saw a video of some “collage art” occurring and I thought I’d get back to that, and so I did.
The fun thing for me about Streamyard and video streaming is that I can just hop on and start something, continue a work in progress, or the video can go in numerous directions. On Friday night, I was interacting with a subscriber who has attended my livestreams in the past, and I enjoy doing that. On Saturday night, in the “3 Year Old Art” video, I told a story about how some rando left a negative snarky comment on Friday’s video on one of the “translator channels” (BitChute), but I turned that around into how I’ve appreciated the artworks of young children since my art school days.
I think I’ve gotten better at hosting videos and working through topics and problems. Halfway through “3 Year Old Art”, I spend some time showing off my “book paintings”, something totally unplanned, and that gave me some ideas. I also talk about kefir, Hobby Lobby, why kids should drop out of art school, and where I might be going with my collage art. I’m a little sarcastic and skeptical. It’s always “family friendly” - never any swearing. It helps to present yourself well when you’re advocating for kids to drop out of school - something I encourage down to the grade school level.

A short email for this week. I’ve been busy. I did record some noon church bells on Friday, but it was cold. I need to find more trains. The weather will be better in a month or two.
